Translations La Rosa offers high quality Spanish - English / English - Spanish document translations at very competitive rates. Serving New Mexico since 2002, we aim to create linguistically and culturally sensitive translations with the ability to reach a wide variety of audiences. Our translations enable communication by minimizing dialectal differences. We work with each client individually to meet the specific needs of your project.

Translations La Rosa can subcontract to other translators if further services such as reverse translations or additional proof-readings are required. We also offer proof-reading services for documents which have been previously translated by other translators.

Rosa María, a native Spanish speaker, earned her degree in Dentistry from La Universidad de Los Andes in Mérida, Venezuela. She has been admitted to the UNM School of Pharmacy for Fall 2008. Her preparation in English includes completion of the intensive English program at CELAC (Center for English Language and American Culture) at the University of New Mexico. In addition to translating, Rosa María offers personalized Spanish language tutoring and classes in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has also tutored Spanish at CNM (Central New Mexico Community College, formerly TVI, Albuquerque, New Mexico) where she received a certificate in tutoring English as a Second Language (ESL).
Paul is a student in the dual Ph.D. program of the Department of Linguistics and the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the University of New Mexico. He is an instructor in the Linguistics Department and also teaches English as a Second Language classes at CELAC. In addition to teaching, Paul is the Assistant to the Academic Director for CELAC. Paul has also taught classes at UNM’s Spanish department. He is a native English speaker and holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics from the University of New Mexico as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and English with a minor in Biology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus.
